CDIC

iA Trust is a trade name used by Industrial Alliance Trust Inc., a member of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC).

CDIC is not a bank and is not a private insurance company. CDIC is a federal Crown corporation established by the Parliament in 1967 to protect your deposits made with a CDIC’s member institution in the rare event of failure.

CDIC insures eligible deposits payable in Canada up to $100,000 (including principal and interest) in Canadian dollars per insured category. Funds held in trust are eligible for CDIC deposit insurance coverage up to a limit of $100,000 per beneficiary. CDIC coverage is free and automatic.
